After the big success of ‘Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra’, the makers have now officially confirmed that a sequel is on the way.
The film will once again be produced under Dulquer Salmaan’s home banner, Wayfarer Films. To tease fans, the studio released a video titled ‘When Legends Chill: Michaek x Charlie’, giving the first hint of what’s next in the Lokah saga. The focus of the sequel will be on Tovino Thomas’s character, Chaatan, who played a major part in the first film.

The short teaser didn’t give away much about the story but showed a funny exchange between Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino. Dulquer was earlier introduced as Odiyan through social media, and in this clip, the two share light-hearted banter.
Tovino jokingly asks Dulquer, “Why don’t you call me once in a while. Maybe in 50 years or even 100 years?” The conversation continues as Tovino hints about his brother being violent and asks if Dulquer would come to help if needed. To everyone’s amusement, Dulquer quickly replies with a “no.”
Wayfarer Films confirmed the project through an official post on X, writing: “Beyond myths. Beyond legends. A new chapter begins. #LokahChapter2 Starring Tovino Thomas. Written & Directed by Dominic Arun. Produced by Wayfarer Films.”
The upcoming sequel will be directed by Dominic Arun, who also helmed the first chapter. Tovino Thomas will return as the lead.
Looking back, ‘Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra’ released in theatres on August 28, 2025, and quickly became a box office success. Directed and written by Dominic Arun, the film blended myth, fantasy, and action in a unique way.
